Slow Food St. Louis is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and all donations are tax-deductible. Chapter funds enable us to offer our educational programs like films, workshops (like apple tree grafting), and lectures; to provide farmer biodiversity micro grants; to continue our Crop Sourcing Project Garlic; and to support sending Chapter representatives to national gatherings like Slow Meat, Slow Seafood, the national School Garden Gathering, and Terre Madre Salone del Gusto to learn, teach, connect, and empower the movement for good food. Chapter funds also allow us to support community-based good food events.
