A Presentation of Missouri’s Wild Edible Mushrooms

Head shot of Maxine StoneChicken of the woods mushroom on a treeThe St Louis chapters of Slow Food and Les Dames d’Escoffier invite you to join us on Friday evening, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. as we welcome Maxine Stone, author of Missouri’s Wild Mushrooms and a member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Mycological Society. Her presentation will uncover the marvels and demystify the wonders of wild edible mushrooms found in our region. 
 
Guests will also enjoy a light, tasting menu of dishes created with wild mushrooms along with wine pairings and NA beverages. Although the event is free and open to the public, donations to sustain future, quality programs that include outreach to our local community are always appreciated. Twenty dollars is suggested.
